Spa GAA will have plenty of good family fun as they’re planning a big Family Fun Day next week.

On Saturday, September 28 from 2pm to 5pm there’ll be a BBQ and a cake sale with a number of exciting events including fun for all ages on the day.

Test your baking skills with the Super Spa Junior Bake Off or test your fashion sense with the Teddy Bear Fashion Show. Summon your inner ‘Rory McIlroy’ for the Golf Chip Challenge or hang out during the Hang Tough Challenge. Other events include ‘Soak the Coach’, tug-o-war, races, face-painting and fun games.

“We are looking forward to the event and we have a wide range of activities planned for all ages,” Spa GAA Coiste na nÓg Chairman, Seamus Moynihan, told the Killarney Advertiser.

“It promises to be a great day out and all are welcome on the day to take part and view the great facilities we have here at Spa GAA.”

Spa GAA Juvenile Academy has been a huge success over the last number of years and continues to grow and develop each year. The club welcomes children of all abilities for training both indoor and outdoor.

“The aim of our academy is to provide children with a fun and enjoyable experience in a safe and friendly environment. We strive to develop key skills with our team of dedicated parents and coaches. We aim not only to develop basic GAA skills but also key fundamental movement and basic motor skills through fun game-based activities.”

Spa GAA Juvenile Academy runs from 10am to 11am every Saturday and is open to boys and girls aged between three and 10-years-old.
