Kerry Airport will host a seminar in Killarney next Wednesday, February 12 to help tourism operators in the town get the best out of the new Ryanair route between Kerry and Manchester.
The new flight will operate twice a week – Sunday and Thursday – and will begin service on March 29.
The seminar, which is co-hosted by Kerry County Council, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland, will take place at the Muckross Park Hotel, from 12.30pm to 2pm. Light Lunch will be served and the event will precede the Fáilte Ireland Wild Atlantic Way Presentation.
“Now that we have secured the route, it’s crucial that all sectors of the tourism industry in Kerry should work together to attract visitors from the northwest of England to experience our wonderful county,” CEO of Kerry Airport, John Mulhern, said.
“All the key information about this fantastic new route into Kerry Airport will be shared at the workshops – how stakeholders can best capitalise upon it for your business and what they need to know about the UK market.”
Other scheduled seminars take place on Thursday, February 13 in:
- Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee from 8am to 9.30am – Breakfast served
- Listowel Arms Hotel, Listowel from 12.30pm to 2pm – Light Lunch served
- Dingle Skellig Hotel, Dingle from 5.30pm to 7pm – Refreshments served
