The award-winning documentary of how Kerry woman Louise Quill set up the Tír na nÓg orphanage in Tanzania will be screened at Killarney Cinema tomorrow (Thursday) night (December 5).

‘Kilimanjaro Mama’ tells the story of why Quill decided to set up the orphanage, what drives her, and the impact it has had on her own health and well-being.

The film made its screen debut at the recent Kerry Film Festival, where it won ‘Best Feature Film’ and due to popular demand it is getting another showing in Killarney next week.

“We would love it to be another sell out show as all money raised is going directly to the project,” said Deirdre Burke who is a volunteer at the orphanage.
