Five Irish tourism businesses – including the Muckross Park Hotel – joined Tourism Ireland in Turkey, at the Private Luxury Forum (PLF), an event which connects influential luxury travel buyers with luxury hotels and suppliers.
The three-day event – which attracted more than 110 buyers from Europe and emerging tourism markets – involved a series of one-to-one appointments and networking sessions. It was a valuable opportunity to meet, and do business with, the influential travel professionals who design unique, luxury travel itineraries for their high net-worth international clients.
“The Private Luxury Forum in Istanbul was an excellent platform to showcase our superb luxury tourism offering,” Louise Finnegan, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Business Partnership, said.
“The format of one-to-one appointments provided our partners, including the Muckross Park Hotel, with a valuable opportunity to meet, and network with, luxury travel professionals and buyers from Europe and our emerging tourism markets – ensuring Kerry and Ireland are ‘top of mind’ for them in 2019 when recommending destinations to their clients.”
