ENJOY some eye-catching photography through the months ahead and help save lives the bargain by picking up one of the last remaining calendars produced by Killarney Cardiac Response Unit.
The calendars feature mesmerising photography by acclaimed local snapper Konrad Paprocki who teamed up with volunteers of the unit throughout last year to capture the calendar boys and girls on camera.
Proceeds from the sales of the calendars, priced at €10, will go towards buying vital new lifesaving equipment for the unit, said its co-ordinator Leo O’Connor. “There are a few remaining calendars so get them now!” Leo O’Connor told Killarney Advertiser. “All the funds raised by the calendar will go towards purchasing life-saving equipment.”
Leo paid tribute to Helen Duggan and Nikki Taddei of the group who organised the production of what is the unit’s first-ever calendar.
The calendars are available in Horan’s Healthfood Stores, Eason Killarney, Eager’s Newsagents and Sheahan’s Off-Licence.
