Hundreds of thousands of homes have been hearing all about what one local hotel has to offer as they appeared on a national campaign on Virgin Media.

Killarney-based Cahernane House Hotel was beamed into homes across the country as part of Virgin Media’s €1 Million ‘Backing Business’ support fund TV campaign – which includes free on-air advertising including creative, production, profiles across its full schedule covering Virgin Media Channels One, Two and Three.

Cahernane, along with two other Irish businesses, featured on Virgin Media’s weekly 60” ad break campaign and were also promoted across Virgin Media’s official social media channels.

Championing staycations since recently reopening on June 29, Emer Corridan, General Manager of Cahernane House Hotel, said they are “thrilled” to be part of the TV stations support programme.

Like all other hotels, Cahernane Hotel closed its doors in March. The entire team have been welcoming guests back through their doors and are heavily promoting staycations as an option for this summer holiday period.

“We are thrilled to be part of Virgin Media’s ‘Backing Business’ campaign,” Emer said. “This platform really helps us to spread the word that we are open once again and are happy to meet our wonderful guests once more.”

She added that Virgin Media is very pro-business and it’s wonderful to have them help to promote Cahernane House this summer.

“Now more than ever our industry needs Irish people to holiday at home and support Irish tourism. Our staycation offers provide people with a wonderful opportunity to explore and to rediscover Killarney and Kerry once again.”
