‘Tradition’, a film made entirely in Killarney, will be screened by Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) to an exclusive audience at The Lighthouse Cinema, Dublin on September 16.

The film, written, produced and directed by Damian O’Callaghan of OC Productions, depicts District Court Judge Seamus Moynihan, on his last day in court, who finds himself presiding over the most controversial case his court, and his town, has ever seen.

It recently won ‘Best Film’ at this year’s Wexford Film Festival, will feature as an Aer Lingus inflight movie, and has secured a US company for worldwide distribution.

It had its Irish premiere as the gala opening film at the 2018 Kerry Film Festival and its USA premiere at the Chicago Irish Film Festival in February of this year.
