Music students from St Brendan’s College in Killarney travelled to London last week – to entertain the guests attending Tourism Ireland’s annual ‘Flavours of Ireland’ event.
Tourism Minister Brendan Griffin attended the event – joining 41 Irish tourism enterprises and around 120 leading UK inbound tour operators at the tourism workshop.
Now in its 17th year, Tourism Ireland’s ‘Flavours of Ireland’ aims to grow Ireland’s share of the huge worldwide travel market.
Attended by UK inbound tour operators who bring business to Ireland and the UK from all over the world, including the US, Mainland Europe, Asia, Australasia and Africa, this event was an opportunity for the participating tourism operators from Ireland to highlight and sell their products to these important decision-makers and to encourage them to feature the island of Ireland in their 2020 holiday and tour programmes.
