A lucky Killarney ticket holder has woken up €500,000 richer this morning after winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize in last night’s (Tuesday) draw.

The lucky Quick Pick ticket was sold at Centra ‘The Rock’ on Rock Road in Killarney on the Court Hotel side opposite The Reeks Gateway.

In total there were three winners of the Plus top prize of €500,000. The other two tickets were sold in Dublin and Meath, and National Lottery is appealing to players to check their EuroMillions tickets carefully.

“There is huge excitement among our players with our EuroMillions jackpot continuing to roll at the capped total of €190 million for this Friday’s draw,” aspokesperson for the National Lottery said.

“Last night’s draws produced an incredible 105,000 winners in Ireland so we are encouraging every single player to check their tickets, regardless of where they bought them. If you are one of the lucky winners of the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize, we advise you to sign the back of the ticket, put it in a safe place and contact our prize claims team on 01 836 4444, and we will make arrangements for you to come to the National Lottery to collect your prize.”
