A Killarney lady was the lucky winner in the recent Killarney Valley Classic & Vintage bumper charity draw.
Tara Buckley from Crohane, Fossa, was the lucky winner of the club’s restored Land Rover 90, on Saturday, November 17.
The Land Rover was restored over the past year for charity by the Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club. Both charities took the Land Rover to different events over the past few months and sold tickets.
Tara’s ticket was picked from the packed draw drum by Mike Moriarty of Moriarty’s Centra, Farranfore at the Innisfallen Hotel in Fossa, having purchased the winning ticket at the club’s vintage car show in July at Killarney Racecourse.
Second prize in the draw went to Paddy Power of Carrick-on-Suir who won a €1,200 voucher for MD O’Shea’s, third prize of a John Deere lawnmower, sponsored by Seamus Weldon Killarney, went to Charlie Joy, fourth prize of a two night stay in Parknasilla Hotel, Sneem went to Ger Culloty from Tralee, fifth prize of a night in the Woodlands Hotel in Adare, was won by Jer Healy, Kilcummin, and sixth prize of a €200 Killarney Oil voucher went to Rachel Snooke, Tiernaboul.
