A Killarney electrical company will show their support for fellow tradesman Seán Cox by raising funds at a charity event this Friday, December 7. Seán will never fully recover following serious injuries sustained after an unprovoked attack outside Anfield in April, when attending a Liverpool game.
Prior to tragic incident, Seán was a rep for Precision Cables who work closely with Killarney electrical outlet TradeKit. Owner Gerry O’Sullivan was the main driving force behind TradeKit’s efforts to help their stricken colleague but, sadly, Gerry passed away last month.
His son, Joe, has since taken the reins and he and his employees are determined to honour Gerry’s last wish to assist the Cox family in their time of need.
“This was something that my dad spent his last day planning,” Joe said. “We’re doing this for Seán but we’re also doing it because it’s what dad wanted.”
A coffee morning will take place at TradeKit in Ballycasheen next Friday and all are welcome to come along, have some cake and make a donation to the Support Seán campaign.
