Parents and Friends of Gneeveguilla National School are holding a fundraiser at Tralee Greyhound Track tonight (Saturday).
The school recently opened an extension which includes a sensory room and tonights event will help fund the final fit out and other activities such as school tours.
The school has secured a replica of the Champions League Cup and soccer fans will be able to get their picture taken with it on the night.
“There is a colouring competition at the school and the pictures will be displayed throughout the building,” Louise Barry, Chair of the Parents and Friends of Gneeveguilla National School Committee, said.
“Winners will be announced tonight with goody bags as the prizes. There is also a raffle on the night with lots of lovely prizes. The evening will be a family fun event and we have even secured the Champions League Cup if anyone wishes to wear their favourite team colours on the night to have a picture taken with it.”
Louise added that only tickets bought locally from local businesses or committee members would go towards the school’s fund, and tickets bought at the gate would not support the school.
