Cormac Casey

Director

Killarney Advertiser was established in 1973 by Cormac’s late father, Danny Casey. Cormac’s first involvement in the Killarney Advertiser began as a delivery boy and he has worked in every aspect of the business since. Where the core values of his father’s vision were as sound then as they are today, Cormac’s contribution was evolving the once-black and white offering to the full-colour edition you see today. Cormac established KC Print as a print partner to Killarney Advertiser ensuring continued local production. KC Print is now one of Ireland’s largest trade printers with a combined workforce of 40 people.

Aidan Quirke

General Manager

Aidan is responsible for sales, new product development and team management. He brings nine years of sales and business management experience to Killarney Advertiser. Aidan previously worked with Promed and has a background in Media, Communications and Sales Strategy.

Linde Bot Hutchinson

Assistant General Manager

Linde brings over 14 years’ sales experience when she joined the Killarney Advertiser in 2017. Working her way up to Assistant General Manager, Linde is no stranger to Killarney as she previously managed a telecommunications store in Killarney and has also worked and managed various charity events. With her college education in Business Studies and Tourism, Linde is a keen travel enthusiast and enjoys globe-trotting.

Michelle Breen Crean

Editor

Michelle Breen Crean joined the Killarney Advertiser team as editor in November last. Michelle has a degree in Journalism and Media Communications and comes from a strong newspaper background having worked as a senior journalist and photographer in Kerry’s Eye for 15 years. She has covered countless hard hitting and human interest stories as well as local events. Michelle is a dedicated professional who is compassionate, enthusiastic and creative.

Adam Moynihan

Sports Journalist

Adam is a sports journalist who graduated from the University of Limerick in 2011 with a degree in English and New Media. The Killarney native is a keen Gaelic footballer and soccer player with a strong passion for all things sport.

Sean Moriarty

Journalist

Sean is an experienced journalist and was the first person from Ireland to qualify with an MA in Automotive Journalism at Coventry University in the UK. On qualification he worked for a number of specialist titles including the weekly Motorsport News before turning his attention to community and sports journalism with the Irish World newspaper in London. Sean recently returned to Kerry after nearly 15 years in the UK and is well known in Killarney, especially in motoring circles as he is Press Officer for the Rally of the Lakes and a Motorsport Broadcast Journalist with Radio Kerry.

Leszek Szeligowski

Senior Graphic Designer

Leszek brings 20 years’ experience as a graphic designer with extensive experience in designing and producing advertising materials, flyers, brochures, folders, logo creation, etc. From his previous job he brings over 10 years experience as a senior graphic designer in Topic Newspaper, Mullingar, Co Westmeath. Leszek also has experience in the digital press printers area.

Conor O'Leary

Graphic Designer

Conor joined the team in February this year after previously being an In-House Graphic Designer with Ard Ri Marble Group in Tralee, Co. Kerry. He studied Interactive Multimedia in the IT, Tralee. He brings almost four years’ experience in a wide variety of print media including brochures, packaging, advertising and online promotions.
