One of Ireland’s favourite hotspots has become the first park in Ireland to have its own Instagram account.

This week, a brand new social media account was launched for Killarney National Park with the support and collaboration of Killarney National Park Visitor Centre, Muckross House and Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce.
As spring has finally sprung and Killarney gears up for the tourist season ahead, this new account will be a valuable resource to share with visitors all that is beautiful about Killarney National Park and inspire them to visit during their time here.
Followers can expect compelling photos of the sheer beauty on our doorstep, unique aspects of life in the Park, tips on how to explore the thousands of acres, experience the heritage, and educate on the protection and conservation of the treasured natural environment.
“We are excited to be one of the first National Parks in the country to have an Instagram account and have so much we want to share, but we need the support of Killarney people and businesses to get the word out,” Brid Colhoun from Killarney National Park said.
“We ask that you not only follow our account but that you share local knowledge and insights of the park by using the hashtag #killarneynationalpark.”
