National League Div 1
Scotts Lakers 95
Galway Titans 70

The Scotts Lakers made light work of the Galway Titans on Saturday night as another fine performance by Mark Greene helped Cormac O’Donoghue’s side to an easy 25-point win.

The high-flying hosts, who are firmly in the playoff picture on the back of a largely impressive campaign to date, were up against the 1-13 Galway Titans so anything other than a comfortable win would have constituted a major shock. As it turned out, the hosts dominated from start to finish and they are now 12 points clear of IT Carlow in third.

The big news in the Southern Conference came from Cork as leaders Ballincollig fell to an unexpected defeat to KUBS BC from Dublin. KUBS currently find themselves mid-table in the Northern Conference but 44 points from American Elijah Tillman helped them to an impressive 96-85 win.
